EPS (Electronic Payment Standard) is an Austrian online payment method developed by STUZZA (Study Association for Payment Transactions). EPS is supported by many Austrian banks and financial institutions: Bank Austria, BAWAG PSK, Erste Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Volksbank, easybank, Austrian Anadi Bank, Sparda Bank, HYPO Tirol Bank, VKB Bank, ...

Paying with EPS is considered fast, secure and convenient because you only need regular online banking: with PIN TAN or digital signature, no additional registration or costs. The bank data will not be passed on to shops.
EPS has the same interfaces with the German giropay and can thus be used mutually.
